Today I'm sharing some pictures of Capri Island. On our journey to Rome, we decided to visit Capri too. I was looking for breath-taking places on the internet (Google) and Capri, Italy was on the top 20 places in the world to visit. So of course I said why not?
We took a train from Rome to Naples, You can get a train ticket for about $56 one-way, which would take 3 hours. Or, you can buy a ticket for a faster train that would get you there in an hour & a half for about $79. We opt. for the faster train as we wanted to catch an early ferry. We found out that Hydrofoils are faster, slightly more expensive than ferries. Single tickets cost $24, ferry tickets cost approximately $17, we opt. for the hydrofoils as we were excited to get there!
We could see the famous Faraglioni rocks from our hotel
Heals and cobble stone = not such a good idea! lol
I had to add a pic of my hot date!
The Ancient Greek prefix "ana" means "up" or "above", signifying that Anacapri is located at a higher elevation on the island than Capri.
We spent 4 days in Capri Island and then left to Mallorca Spain to explore another beautiful island! It was such a great experience. It really puts this quote into perspective: “Without new experiences, something inside of us sleeps. The sleeper must awaken.” Frank Herbert...... If you are looking to go to Italy, I must say this is a place to visit!
