A little piece of heaven... Mallorca, Spain

Posted by Always Curious on March 5, 2017 at 10:55 AM

Hi everyone,

So today I decided to post a blog about our visit to Mallorca. Mallorca, is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea and is one of the largest islands there. In Mallorca Spanish is spoken, However we found that many of the locals speak Catalan. Catalan is known as a romance language of the Indo-European family. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort called Iberostar Jardin del sol for 4 days, the resort grounds and rooms were beautiful. However we spent so little time at the resort that we could've done without the all-inclusive.

The view of the island as we were arriving!

We arrived by noon and took a little nap before heading down to the pool. This was a picture I took from our room balcony... It was 8pm and the sun was still going strong!

The next day we took a cab to El Mago beach, Playa del Mago is located next to the small village Portals Vells in the south-western part of Mallorca. It's a small beach situated in an unspoilt small cove with beautiful surroundings.

We spent the entire day at the beach just taking in the sun and enjoying some relaxing time. There was also a cute little resturant on the beach we had lunch here everyday.

Overall Mallorca was absolutely beautiful, somewhere we will definitly go back and visit. We plan to visit the smaller islands like Ibiza as well next time. Hope you enjoyed my little picture diary.

When in Rome, visit the Coliseum
